I know this because BeadCreator helpfully highlights how much the beads might cost when making the pattern. I reduced the number of colours down to just 58 and I was able to reduce the potential cost of beads without affecting the quality of the pattern too much.

So, is this beading software worth the money? Well, in my view, the Pro version at $149 would be worth the money for a beader who needs to create and sell professional-looking patterns and would benefit from being able to mix up pattern formats, add fringe, change the saturation and hues of colours and protect their patterns.
Sounds like a good investment for a serious or semi serious beader. I had some cross stitch way back int he day which was similar (but no where near as advanced) and I remember it being really helpful.
I am planning on ordering bead creator 6. Am curious as to the minimum software program (Windows 8/10 )etc needed to support said program Also need to know approximently how many patterns per gig storage is possible. Interesting blog. I came across it because, having recently purchased the program I am having great problems trying to understand how it will do what I want it to do and so googled for help. Firstly, I could not register the program because it would not accept my telephone number. I emailed them to ask why and they registered it for me, which is great but still does not explain why, when they are selling the program world wide, the forms requires a particular type of number on the registration form. Now I am trying to use the blank canvas but can make no sens of the manual on how to select the palette colours I want. The help manual has obviously been written by a computer programmer and not with the help of a beader. I was not sent any tutorials to learn how to use the program, so it was interesting to read that you were. I will battle on, having already spent the money, but at the moment there is no joy, only frustration!
Hello, I very recently purchased bead creator Pro 6, and am still poking around trying to figure out how to do a few things. One of them is how to add my bead inventory to the program. Would you happen to know how to do this? Also would you happen to know if there is a way to create more than one inventory? Any help you can give me will be most appreciated.

Deformation can occur during the contraction of welded metals when cooling and hardening. It can happen when the welding sequence is not suitable for the intended weld, there are too many thin beads, or there is insufficient clamping before welding. To avoid deformation, weld from both sides of the joint and be sure to weld from the center out, in opposite directions. Use a large electrode and clamp firmly. Change the sequence of the welds and location of the joint if deformation begins to occur. Making fewer passes during welding can also help avoid deformation.
Cracks are an issue with welding, as they can become larger over time. Fixing a crack is not as simple as filling the gap with material. Cracks need to be ground out and a new weld needs to be performed in order to correct the error. For this reason, preventing cracks is easier than fixing them. In order to prevent cracks, you should spend the proper amount of time grinding, cleaning, filing, and deburring the edges of plates so they fit together easily. You should reheat both sides of the joint, making sure the temperature is correct. You should also check to make sure you have the right amount of heat before welding by testing your machine settings.
